Maule Air has added newly certified aircraft to its M-9 series: the M-9-260 Fuel Injected and M-9-235 Carbureted taildraggers.
A 260 hp Lycoming IO-540 powers the M-9-260; the M-9-235 runs on a 235 hp Lycoming O-540 that can burn mogas. Both airplanes can seat up to five people and carry 2,800 pounds of gross weight. Each has Maule’s four-door arrangement with up to 42 cubic feet of cargo space, and each is available in two-seat and four-seat configurations. The M-9-260 and M-9-235 have useful loads of 1,092 pounds and 1098 pounds, respectively. Like the rest of the M-9 series, the new models feature heavy-duty aluminum spring gear, all-metal wings and Maule STOL performance.
Maule Air recently added the M-4-180V to its taildragger lineup as well. The M-4-180V is powered by a 180 hp Lycoming O-360 and a Hartzell constant-speed propeller. Like the M-9 series, it features Maule’s four-dour arrangement, plentiful cargo space (38 cubic feet), all-metal wings, Maule STOL performance and side-by-side seating in two-seat and four-seat configurations. The aircraft boasts a 900-plus-pound useful load.
Each model in Maule’s lineup can be customized from an extensive list of options.
